Today was pretty busy. Awesome fun though! We spent the morning recovering from going out until sunrise last night. We went to a club called watergate, where you can stand out on a terrace along with 2 floors of dancing space. It was pretty interesting to see how things are done at the clubs here in Berlin. Also the nightlife is pretty involved here.

We got to meet up with our friends from Amsterdam too, so it was pretty fun to go out as a group and experience it all together.

But anyways, today we spent most of the time going through the Flohmarkt (flea-market) and der Mauerpark. There was so much stuff to explore and discover.

I also made good friends with a guy named Robert as I was doing some watercolors. He came up to me and ended needing someone to be able to confide in. Aryeh was a bit upset about having to deal with his sister at the time, but I feel like Robert was in need of some love and listening and I chose to give him that...

Things got a bit disorganized on my hardrive... There's more pics, but I just wanted to make this music video instead. The song and video comes from the train on the way to Berlin.

Happy fourth!!!

Doesn't mean much over here, but we still got a good chance to have a good time :)

I rode rollerblades for the first time in years, and Aryeh was on bike as we had a nice trip around the lake here. I did end up crashing at first, but it was a safe tumble, and that's kind of how you need to learn…

We then caught some more physical theater performances in the afternoon, watched half of the Germany vs. France game, and then we ended up going out to a bar with Matt. I got to make some great new friends and just meet some really cool people in general. Excited about new friends :)

Next we're off to Berlin!

Today we got to spend a whole day in Essen. It was pretty fun! Matthew and Michel got to look at a new apartment that they are hoping to get, so Aryeh and I tagged along and went to a couple secondhand stores while we were there.

The second place was much better. I got an awesome bike shirt that I can't wait to wear(literally just forgot to put it in the wash...), and also some new sunglasses that aren't broken. Yet.

After that Matthew and Michel needed to look at computers so I got a chance to listen to some cd's and records inside a store with Aryeh. I ended up getting a lounge cd I'm pretty excited about.

Michel left to perform (we saw him the first night here) and we went back home. Took it pretty easy for the afternoon, ate, then saw some physical theater performances! Those were cool. I'm really interested in that style of performing. It seems to portray alot about the people and who/how they work.

And finally we ended up going to a bar later on and getting some Gin&tonics. Nothing too crazy but it's been really nice getting to know Matt better. Check out his music video!!!

Also, he showed us footage from the most recent video that he and Michel shot and it looks amazing!! Can't wait for the editing to be done.
